Great radio for a desk or office. I ended up getting one for each. Amazing sound and really good reception for an internal antenna.

Finally - at long last - I have a permanent fix for perfect reception of WFMU!

The best radio I ever got! Finally - at long last - I have a permanent fix for the reception problem I and other radio listeners have when tuning in to the 91.1 band radio station that most formed me, WFMU! It's this! In tandem with the 50 mile 1byone® brand Super Thin HDTV Antenna, for the first time ever, I'm getting FLAWLESS reception of WFMU!!!* - it may be a mono speaker output, but it's a) the key to making the station sound good, b) it's in incredibly efficient speaker, and c) it outputs its stereo reception as a mini-jack accessible stereo signal!

A Very Stylish Radio with an Exceptionally Small Footprint

Very attractive, small enough to be placed virtually anywhere. Audio quality is reasonable considering the very small speaker, but may be disappointing to some. Fit and finish is excellent, wood cabinet is exceptionally attractive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Great, Simple, Good Sounding AM - FM Radio with simplel controls !

I have had this radio since it was introduced several years ago. It is now placed on a shelf in a medium sized room and it plays almost daily. A good antenna is essential for good reception with this radio. It simply plays what ever is being broadcast. If the station is weak and perhaps very distant, the sound may not be the best. However, I have never been disappointed with the sound coming from the one speaker. Several have asked me about the radio and they comment on the great sound it produces. I do on occasion listen to talk radio and I have never had a problem with the sound quality. It seems to play music as well as the human voice very well. I have used this radio as a amp and speaker for a small xm Sirius receiver on several occasions and the sound was very good. It is small and compact and can be easily placed on a table or shelf. It has a very long cord that that is very much appreciated.

The best of its kind out there

Terrific product--about the only one worth considering for a counter-top (or otherwise) radio with great sound, simple but sophisticated controls. And, guess what? No digital read-out! No needless clock. So all the cost goes into the build quality & attractive, sensible design. It simply sounds great! Also, if you check the names behind this, they're audio pros from way back--a track record of innovation & generally fine audio products. I talked to Joe at Audio Advisor & he said, "This is the best out there for a table radio. I wonder why we don't carry it?"
