Love this little radio

Love this little radio. The sound quality is excellent and it' sustain really reliable. A great buy and I'm glad I spotted it at the Chicago W Hotel.

Great for my small office. I don't often use the radio feature, but have it hooked up to my computer at work and it's more than loud enough. Great sound quality and stylish addition to my desk.

Beautiful sound for music

Beautiful sound for music. Could do with a switch do enhance voice quality. I really like the design of the enclosure and dial. Great little radio. Didn't realise that the unit only operates from 120V mains. We are here having 230V. Luckily there is a 12V DC input. Recommended product.

The reception is wonderful, being able to tune close together and hard to get stations is what I was looking for. My only complaint is that I expected it to have more "hi-fi" sound. Out of the box it had this totally annoying bass resonance of around 145 Hz (around D3 on my piano), I almost sent it back right then. It was that annoying. Believing that the original radio had a true air suspension speaker, I took an old wine cork and wrapped it in a paper napkin and jammed it into the little port underneath the cabinet. The resonance decreased tremendously. It's still there but much less severe. I'm still tempted to return it but then I remember my other radio, having to move the antenna to try and tune in the stations that the Model One receives effortlessly. In fact it pulls in stations that the other radio just doesn't pick up no matter what I try. I think I'll put up with the bass bump.

Very disappointed. A year after buying this wonderful radio, it developed a low, loud hum that totally overwhelmed the sound. Our pure delight turned to sheer disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
