Love it, Hate it.

I bought the Tivoli because of it discriminator. It can fine tune any station and ignore the harmonics. I bought two - one upstairs and one down. However, after a year both tuners developed a scratching noise - like dust in the old capacitive tuners - except you can't clean it. The broadcast sound is rich and bold, about as good as a well known "wave radio". I now hate the tuner on this radio, but I use the auxillary input jack for other units and I love this radio. It is a handsome unit with a very nice wooden case. I am sure the wood helps with the sound.

The sound quality and volume of the speaker is outstanding. It picks up stations that are normally not available from other radios I have tried. This is one good radio for sure.

BEST sounding tabletop radio ever. Not "boomy" but very tight and powerful. FM reception is great, thought the tuner will get to where it sounds like a dirty volume pot after a while. You have to exercise the tuner knob so it will tune quietly or correctly. And, with the vernier reduction, you get a good wrist workout doing it.However, the sound more than makes up for it. Sounds HUGE!
