This case is not properly made. The top and bottom (front and back) are not the same size so do not fit on the iPad correctly. It’s a struggle to get the latch to line up correctly and latch. A piece has broken off the bottom already and it was not dropped. Cheaply made. So disappointed because I have used Speck for my devices for years now and highly recommended the brand to others.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is just not a good case. The iPad does not snuggly fit into the case so the corners are always slipping. The metal magnetic rod keeps coming out of the case, and is effectively useless. I did have an instance where the iPad hit the floor when my cat knocked it off the couch, and my iPad popped out. I would not buy this case

Straightforward and lightweight

I bought a new iPad after my old one fell and broke, so I decided to get a more robust case. I have not dropped this one yet, but it appears to offer somewhat more protection than my previous option. The case is lightweight enough that using it in bed or on the floor is no problem. I like the little latch to keep the case closed or open. The stand was a little non intuitive to me initially but after figuring it out it is easy enough to set the laptop standing at different angles. The camera flap is gimmicky and I probably just won't use my iPad camera, rather just sticking to my iPhone. All in all, I am happy with this case, especially for the discounted holiday price!

I like the multiple ways the case props up my iPad. Also it is very easy to get the iPad into the case. This case was exactly what I was looking for, and I would recommend it to others.

Clip is hard to open

I returned because it has a strap with clip on the side to hold it shut. I couldn't get the clip open due to limited hand strength so back it went.

I am very happy with this Speck purchase. I feel confident that it will protect my iPad. I am very clumsy no matter how hard I try and I always worry that I'll somehow break my expensive tablet. I don't have to worry with this product. I will purchase some more for my children
