Overall good but functional details overlooked

For the most part it works as needed but it seems like the company just didn’t pay attention to details in the design. The multiple notches on the bottom are pretty useless since the angle the iPad sits in doesn’t change dramatically. On that note, the bottom part is split into two plates which makes it very hard to put it up at an angle on the couch or other uneven surfaces. The part where the iPad fits into is also mounted crooked. There’s a loop that fits a stylus but it’s in an awkward location that makes it not very accessible from either the angled position or folded over position. I probably would’ve returned it but I threw away the original box and you need it for returns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First the good news. This is a well made product that has lots of flexibility. It protects my iPad well. Now the bad. I’ve had two previous versions of this case on older iPads but this has been redesigned with a half inch overhang of cover on one long edge. This makes the iPad too wide to fit in my bag. The overhang serves no purpose I can see and holding in landscape arrangement, my thumb rests against the overhang and pushes the camera flap open all the time. It’s a nuisance. And I am concerned the fastener that holds the cover closed has empty space behind it now, making it much more likely to break off. The design previously was perfect, so this is two steps backward.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always used Speck cases for my iPads and this one does not disappoint. It fits the 10th generation perfectly and does not interfere with a screen protector at all. It is sturdy and looks great. I love the drop down addition for the camera, it keeps your camera nice and clean.

I recently bought the brand new iPad, and I am extremely clumsy. This came about last week, on December 24th, 2022. I took a nasty fall after slipping on ice, and landed right on my back, where my small, thin purse was. I was terrified to look to see if my iPad had cracked, but it was completely okay! I highly recommend these amazing products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased several Speck iPhone cases that have been super (I drop my phone constantly and no damage) so naturally I came back for an iPad case. It's sturdy, protective and has many nice features. The only thing is my dog's hair sticks to it constantly, but that's not the case's fault lol I recommended these products to my family who uses them now also. #Sweepstakes

Great case, good features

I love my case! It feels pretty durable (I haven't dropped it yet, so can't speak from experience here) and has a great feel to it as far as texture goes. I like the features, such as the camera cover that flips open and the latch that holds the case closed or open in the handheld position. Overall a great case so far, especially for the price!

Unstable

This arrived quickly and has multiple aspects I like, including the color and snap closure. However, it does not put the iPad to sleep when the cover is closed. Moreover, it's very, very unstable when on a softer surface like a bed due to its multiple functions, meaning it is not rigid and folds constantly. I would only recommend this for use on a desk.
