I am very unhappy with this mower that I purchased last summer. The blade does not cut the grass! The quality has decreased substantially. I have been using my mother’s 5 year old WORX mower that still performs very well. This is a major disappointment to me.

I was impressed with this little mower! It was easy to put together with just one person. (I do wish the instructions had actual words instead of just pictures, it would've made life just a little easier!) The mower is very light-weight, which is one of my deciding factors for purchasing it. I needed to find a mower that I could easily pick up and put in the back of my truck. This mower has two built-in handles that make it easy to lift and move. The mower also has three handle heights, allowing even the shortest user to push the mower with ease. The push button start is so simple and stress-free to use. I was able to teach my 10-year-old daughter to mow with this mower and she is now a lawn care aficionado!
Summary: if you want a light weight mower for any user ability, choose this one! And, oh - the battery length is appropriate for a small yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not sure this lawnmower being only a 14 inch wide cut would be enough. I have a 21 inch gas mower, when I compared the two on how long it would take to cut the lawn. The worx beat the gas mower. Here is why, it's light weight, click in two batteries (seconds) and go cut. Fast Walking speed this battery mower cut like a charm. It's quiet and easy to maneuver. The gas mower has to be fueled pull started then cuts the grass. On hills it's heavy and cumbersome. Not the worx battery-powered lawnmower. So I have a 1/4 acre on a hill with thick centipede grass in west florida. I am able to cut the front, back and side yards with one charge from the two supplied batteries and it has still 2 bars showing the charge is still at 1/4 percent. So I use them to power the worxs weedeater and blower. It's awesome!! Very pleased. The mower is lightweight so I hang it from the ceiling out of the way to save space. I will be selling the gas mower.. so I recommend this mower for a yard that is 1/4 to 1/2 acre. The batteries charge quickly but if your over a 1/2 acre get another set of batteries or if you already have worx equipment use those batteries to finish the job..

Don't judge it by its size

I bought this mower about 2 weeks ago and admittedly, I didn't think much of it when I first opened its box. This is my first mower as I've always used hand-me-downs, but I wanted something completely cordless. While I was putting it together, I thought it wouldn't be able to get the job done because it was so small and light - it felt like a child's toy - hey dad, I'll come "mow" with you while you do the real work. However, after I charged the batteries and used it, the fact that it is small and light changed my mind. It is extremely easy to maneuver and it has no problems cutting through anything. A portion of my yard is at a slant, so the lightweight feature has made yard work much easier. For my needs, this mower is excellent and I would highly recommend it!

Mower arrived quicker than expected. Fedx delivered the mower at 11 PM (one hour before midnight). That's what I call dedicated delivery by Fedx. Opened the box and was very surprised at the size of the mower. Very easy to assemble. I attached the bag and called for my wife to come see my new mower. Her first impression was "that is a toy." The batteries charged full in about 4 hours. I set the height to 3.5 inches due to my grass being about 5 inches high. I inserted the two 20V batteries and "started" the mower. It purred like a baby kitten. I started walking and my little toy went right thru that tall grass like a 22 inch gas mower. This little critter gets the job done. No oil to change; no gas to spill; no heavy mower to push; no yanking on a starter rope 10 times; and the best part about my little toy is I get extra walking exercise. With my old gas mower it took me 20 minutes to cut my small yard. With my little cutie "toy", it took me an extra 7 minutes to cut my yard. I know this is a long review but its worth every word what I say about my little toy. My neighbor thought I had my grandson toy mower but was she surprised when I started walking thru that tall grass with my little toy. Very easy to push and the bagger works great. I was surprised to see the little flap jump up when the bag was full of grass. What a feature!! If you are thinking about getting a new mower from Worx ……. stop "thinking" and get it!!!!!! I would giver this little toy a ten star rating if ten stars was showing. No more running to get gas; no more changing oil and getting messy; no more pulling my gut out yanking on a starter rope; no more taking up lot space in my little shed; no more electrical or fuel problems; nothing now but pure joy when its time to cut my grass. I also have more space in my shed now so I can get some more Worx tools <g> Thanks a bunch Worx.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used my mower for the first time. I got it to help with trimming before mowing with my riding mower because I was spending two days weedeating. I was able to complete the yard in one day for the first time. I own several Worx tools and love each one. I will continue to purchase one at a time until I have replaced my other tools. They are extremely dependable and easy to use.

Amazing Electric Mower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I purchased this mower to replace our older corded one that was also purchased from Worx. Having owned numerous Worx products over the years, we continue to be impressed by the design and reliability of their products. This 40V Power Share is no exception.
It cuts through our St. Augustine grass with ease and is always even. The beauty of electric is the light weight as well. Self-propulsion is definitely not needed.
We're hoping for many years with this great mower and will be keeping an eye out for cool new products from Worx. Thank you, Worx!
