[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the new JBL PartyBox 520. It is a rather large unit for a large sound. After I received and unpacked the unit I plugged the power in and found the battery was 3/4 charged. It was easy to sync my iPhone to the unit. All I had to do was go to power up the unit, then go to Bluetooth on my phone then press the Bluetooth button on the PartyBox. In a few seconds my phone found it and I selected the PartyBox520 then it connected. When I selected a song and it started playing , I couldn’t believe the true crisp sound from the box. The sound quality was great at any volume. I have only turned the volume up 3/4 way and I think you could hear it half mile away. Where-ever you set the volume the sound was crisp and not distorted.
The lights on the front would blink with the music and is adjustable.
All the controls are on the top of the unit but there is an app that can be downloaded to make it easier to control the light patterns, sound effects, volume, and other things from your phone. You can also connect multiple units together for a true, fun time. I have not completely tested the battery but after 3 hours it only was down about 1/8 of the indicator. Took about 20 minutes to fully charge. If you were running on batteries only it is to last about 15 hrs.

Awesome do it all speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The speakers are awesome, they can fill up a whole room without really needing to crank the volume. Even when it gets louder the sounds dont get muddy and you can still have a quality output. The mic plug and plug factor was very easy to set up and using it for karaoke was a breeze. Just connect a bluetooth device and get a karoake app or lyrics video going with your mic and start singing. My only wish is that there was storage of some kind for mics or the power cable but I imagine 3d printing something would be easy enough.

This is definitely a must have speaker

Party in a box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL PartyBox 520, is just that a party in a box! This is the most incredible speaker I have ever seen or heard! My family loves it, whether you are having a gathering, using it for work or just a stay at home dance party this speaker is perfect.
My daughter is a cheer instructor and has found it to be very valuable during her summer cheer camps. The speaker with the light show adds another level to their cheer practices and clearly gets the cheerleaders more excited and focused during their training.
The speaker is big and slightly heavy but manageable. I am 5’7” female and the height of the speaker is roughly the mid thigh. The handle is easy to extract and the wheels make transporting the speaker easy.
One of the features that is loved by everyone is the customizable light show. It’s amazing and everyone loved taking turns creating their own customized show. There are so many colors and choices of light patterns it’s so much fun, also there are cool sound effects that can be played directly from the speaker or light show app, it’s the life of any party! For the lights there is the main figure 8 light, random diamond lights on the front of the speaker and 2 bars that run across the bottom and top of the speaker.
The battery life is long with the speaker at 60% and the light show on we got a little over 8 hours of use. This speaker comes with a removal battery so you can have a backup battery charged and ready to replace the battery. While the battery life is long it only takes a couple hours to recharge, I was surprised on how fast the speaker recharged.
The party box has 2 microphone inputs so 2 microphones can be plugged in at the same time or JBL offers wireless microphones that are easy to connect with amazing sound. Whether you have wired or wireless microphones it’s so much fun to karaoke on this speaker. This speaker is also ideal with the microphone if you would have an event where speaking or speeches are required, this speaker can be for business as much as it’s for fun!
A feature that is really exciting is the JBL PartyBox520 can connect with other speakers that use auracast. Using the app you can have multiple speakers paired and playing at the same time. It really enhances the surround sound feeling. Another cool feature is the jbl has a usb-c port on the back, aux in and daisy chain in and out. This speaker has it all.
Finally I would like to talk about the sound as a JBL enthusiast I expect nothing but the best for sound quality from any JBL product and the Partybox 520 sound is beyond fabulous. As always I am blown away with how loud this speaker is. It’s not just the volume but the quality of sound is amazing, any type of music sounds like you are live at a concerts. Beyond the music the sound quality of podcast or using the microphones are crystal clear. The sound is in no way distorted or funky.
This speaker is so enjoyable and you can bring any function to life with the JBL PartyBox 520! If you are ready to party this is for you!

Powerful and sleek design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker is Way bigger than I expected. Because of that, I love that it has wheels. I’ve been using this speaker every day for the past week and a half already, I can tell you that this is game changer. First off, we all know JBL is known for the lights, and I love that the lights actually flow with the beats of The songs. It makes you feel like you have a party in your bedroom lol. I haven’t taken it out to the park or anything, but I can tell you that this is perfect for family gatherings at the park, concerts, karaoke, celebrations, etc. it gives you the options to Increase the base levels and adjust the lighting to your liking. Also, there’s another section of specifically for the microphone Part so when you do karaoke, you can adjust the volume based treble and echo, To your liking. It does have features Like checking your messages with your phone, which you will see in one of the Photos I’ve added. Overall, this is a 10 out of 10 and I say that about most speakers I get from JBO but honestly they are really that good. This is coming from a true music lover. If you’re someone that hosts big parties or block parties celebrations or anything like that this will be the perfect speaker for you. Honestly, it’s super loud like I said the bright colors are really nice and a sound quality is amazing. I expect nothing less from JBL.

This speaker is like a mini 710 it is loud it’s clear to and it covers a lot of distance for a party & last time I had a party they called the cops on me this speaker is Insane I love my 520 you can’t ask for any better it’s worth every penny
