I've had it 2 weeks and it worx great. This unit replaces the same old unit i've had for years. Lots of improvements to this new trimmer over the old unit.

I recently used the 20V Power Share String Trimmer / Edger for the first time. I replaced a Black & Decker 20V trimmer and was pleasantly surprised at how long the battery lasted and what a great job it did. I highly recommend!

Underpowered

I had the WG155 10" trimmer and loved it. I wanted a blower so I bought a blower/trimmer combo kit that included the WG163 12" trimmer. What a dog the WG163 is compared to the WG155. It bogs down and you have to move very slowly. The WG163 has been used about 5 times and I gave up and it's been hanging in my garage for the last 5 years. I'm only writing this review today because a few of the handle locking teeth on my WG155 have broken and I was forced to use the WG163 this morning. I'm going to be in the market for a new cordless trimmer if I can't fix the WG155 but I am not confident in Worx 12" trimmers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this trimmer for two weeks and I have learned to love it! Lightweight, adjustable and easy to use. While I like to auto-feed string feeder, the single-string cutter took some getting used to. But it's well worth the effort!

I have both of these pieces and they both are excellent quality, durable, batteries last long, etc.. I also have the blower kit with pieces to blow up all kinds of water toys and extension to blow out gutters. all work great. still have original pack of strings for trimmer. they last a LONG time. great stuff

I had the 32V version of this tool for about 7 years before it had served its last lawn-mowing. This version is the equivalent and now I have more products to share batteries with. Pleased with my purchase. Only complaint is my 32V model had automatic string feed. Not a big deal as the button to feed on this one is easy access.
