Ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this with a variety of uses in mind around the flower beds, where a hedge trimmer would prove too cumbersome. So far no complaints, powers right through some bigger jobs as well. No cord and lightweight make it a good part of my Worx tool collection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Blade gets very rusty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used it one time to cut my grass, and both of my blades then became very rusty. And the tool stops working here and there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m thrilled that I purchased this! Before, I had to use my old trimmer, and it would make my hand quite sore. Now, I just flip the switch and off the unwanted shrub goes! Long battery life. Great ease of use. Would definitely recommend!

The right tool makes the job easier

This tool arrived two days ago and I used it extensively to cut back the faded stems on about 50 feet of hostas and used the shrub trimmer on about 20 feet of low shrubs. It worked well. Certainly proving the adage that the right tool makes the job easier! I have two concerns - First, will the blades stay sharp ? Both blades worked well but will they stay sharp? Second, both blades had thick grease where the blade connects with the motor. Will this last? Will it get gummy? I will try to update this review as time goes on.
I see some criticisms about the strength of the motor. The 20V motors are simply not as powerful as a gas or even an electric motor - but I expected that to be in the case. I found that the tool had the right power for the job. The first day that I used it, I thought that holding the safety button was a little annoying, but the second day, I didn't even notice it. Bottom line - assuming it stays sharp, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
