. When I saw it in the Worx line I jumped on it and have been overwhelmed by its construction and ease of use. I have eight Worx products all in the gardening, wood cutting area and this one is the lightest easiest one of the all. I put it to work the minute I received it and have trimmed trees, ivy, and bushes with total effectiveness and perfection. I am 80 years old and its like having a robotic arm to use , no strain, no stress and its light character makes it effortless to use. I love it.

Very Handy little tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this tool to trim some 2 foot hedges and trim my neighbors hedges that are growing over my fence. even though it is only an 8 inch hedge trimmer, it does extremely well. the grass trimmer, which i didn't think i would use, comes in very handy. it will be even more important this fall when i trim the seasonal flowers. for the price, this tool is a gem!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I ordered the 20V Power Share Cordless 4"Shear and 8" Shrubber Trimmer I was mainly interested in the Trimmer function. I have a large corded trimmer but wanted something small to do small touch up jobs. I was concerned it would not have enough power to do what I wanted but I am very pleased with how well it functions. It is light weight and best of all I don't have to drag out a long extension cord.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The quick change from grass clipper to bush shaper makes this so convenient.
And I coupled it with the Worx 20V "automobile" charger. Using the DC "cigarette lighter" plug lets me bypass the AC to DC inverter, which wastes energy stored in my solar panel storage battery unit. Even when the wall socket style charger has finished topping up the Worx battery, just having the inverter in the circuit registers a 10 watt battery drain. If you forget to turn off the AC inverter, the storage battery is depleted by the next time you get to the garden shed.
