I purchased this saw to trim small trees in my backyard and unruly woody roots. I am a 66 year old female and this saw is perfect for me. I love the battery pack tools which free me from electrical cords or impossible to start gas motors. The blades are easy to insert and the lock device prevents accidental starts. This is my second Worx tool , but it won't be my last. Good bang for the buck.
I got the 20v worx axis saw, which works as a jigsaw or a recipricating saw and I used it the next day for some wood work. It was GREAT not to have to look for an extension cord!
I bought this cordless reciprocating & jig saw a few months ago and before I put down what I thought of this tool I wanted to put it through some jobs I had around my house. And I have to say I am very impressed with this tool of Worx. The instructions need to be more informative and the print could be just a tad larger. I had to go onto You Tube to get some answer, as I am more of a visual understanding type of person. I own several other 20 volt tools from Worx and I love them as well. So far I give all the ones I own a 5 star rating. I had one of my friends over and we used this 20v Axis reciprocating/ jig saw as well as the 2 in 1 drill and I was able to cut nails and cut the wood I needed with just changing the blade.
I didn't realize it, but I've been waiting for this tool all my life...
I occasionally have the need to use a reciprocating or jig saw, but not on a regular basis. My corded saws were heavy and awkward. So, finding this convertible saw was one of the best moments of my do-it-yourself life! It works great - it's lightweight, powerful enough for most jobs, and easy to use. I will never be without it again!
