How did I manage without this before. Already had the edger and blower so this was the next logical garden tool. No more wasting time finding an extension cord that always gets in the way or is not long enough. Pickup the tool, slide on the battery and away we go. This get the job done and in half the time. Easy clean up too.

This is a very good trimmer. I would have given it 5 stars but the rear handle was very hard to assemble. I think it should have been attached at the factory and packed properly for shipping. I wasn't too happy as I had to get help to attach the handle.

The Best Hedge Trimmer For Its Size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned many Hedge Trimmers in the 20" through 24' size. The brands for example were Craftsman, Black & Decker, Toro, just to name a few. They were all 110v, not battery operated as is the WORX. I found all these to be inferior to the WORX. They were noisy when running, regardless if the blades were oiled or not. None of them would cut branches much greater than 1/4", not even the latest Toro. The trimmers would keep bouncing off the 1/4" branches and not make an even clean cut. The trimmers would just beat the branches to death. They all were awkward to use and heavier than the TORX.
The TORX on the other hand cuts the best, even clean cuts I have done up to approximately 1/2" or thicker branches. The trimmer was quiet and I did not hear the blades banging together as did all of the 110v trimers. Cutting from any angle or side was no issue for the TORX trimmer. It is balanced perfectly for the user and much lighter than all the 110v's I have owned. I could not be happier for choosing the battery operated TORX for my trimming needs and this experience has caused me to purchase other TORX quality outdoor equipment. Thank you TORX for meeting the needs of customers like myself and other "DIY".
