I didn't buy this fan for use on a jobsite -- I bought it for home. I live in a house with very small openable windows and when the power goes out (frequently) so does the air-conditioning and it becomes unbearable. I had several smaller battery-operated fan but unlike the Worx, they don't move much air. I have 3 20V batteries and with the fan on lo speed have been able to outlast all the power failures. During normal times. I use the supplied AC power adapter and run the fan continuously to circulate air, reducing the amount of air-conditioning I need which reduces my electrical bill.
A pleasant surprize was that when using the AC adaptor, not only does the fan recharge batteries but it recharges them faster than the charger I got with my other Worx tools! The adapter runs the fan and recharges batteries at the same time.

Perfect addition to the collection

I bought this about a month ago and it's great to push cold air around the house. It's also great while camping, I can plug it in while charging the battery, then bring it in the tent fully charged for the night. Highly recommended, just wish it was a little quieter. For future products, I'd love to see this with the misting feature!

Small, Portable, Powerful

this fan works great in small areas! I painted a small bathroom and the fan ran for 3+ hours on the battery alone.

A very useful well made item!

While I only had this for a short period of time, I am very impressed with the quality and construction. The ability to run this fan on AC or Battery was the clincher for me. The design makes it easy to position, tilt, and hang were needed to assure good airflow where you want it. It circulates the air well and is not too noisy. Looks like it will last long.
I would recommend this to a friend!
