I bought this a couple of weeks ago and so glad I did! The set up was easy and the picture and video quality are awesome. I have 3 other Wyze camera's and they all work great but this by far has exceeded my expectationsI would highly recommend.
Works beautiful, except the green rectangle that obfuscates the objects detected.
How can one turn off that green rectangle? Wyze won't let you submit A less than 5 Star review. They compel you to this form where they further compel you to agree to terms before you can submit your review.
The cameras work as described. They have great picture quality. The app is a little buggy. It has trouble with connection management (making connections to the cameras). Force stop and restart of the app usually corrects it for a while.
It worked for a night and now I can’t get it to work. Won’t recognize the cam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was very easy to install this device in my downward facing light on my back porch. Since I have the Wyze app and many other Wyze cameras and bulbs, it was easy to connect. Pretty much went downhill from there. I have become an expert at adjusting the settings for detection and notifications on these cameras but could not get this one to a workable level for nighttime situations. It either triggered a detection every minute or didn’t detect me walking very close to the camera. Resolution at night was bad. This is only the second Wyze product that I have returned due to poor performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
