The light should have it's own scheduled and control. I do not want to have the light turn on in evening.

We're sorry you’re having trouble turning off the light on your Wyze Bulb Cam. We know how frustrating that can be, and we're here to help walk you through it.
You can manually turn off the light right from the live stream:
1. Open the Wyze app.
2. Tap on your Wyze Bulb Cam.
3. Go to the Live Stream view.
4. Tap the bulb icon in the bottom-right corner to turn the light off.
You can also control the light using schedules:
1. Open the Wyze app and select your Wyze Bulb Cam.
2. Go to Settings > Bulb Settings.
3. Tap Schedule and set your preferred on/off times.
4. If things seem stuck, try setting a temporary schedule first, then switch it back to your preferred timeframe.
5. Test the camera during the scheduled time to make sure it’s working as expected.
If you’d like to fine-tune how the light responds to motion, you can also check the Activate When and Lights Off Timer options in the same Bulb Settings menu.

An excellent way to put a light AND a camera into a standard light bulb socket. Extra nice to be able to pair the bulb-only device to it. My only concern is when one of the devices burns out, how will I replace it and how much will it cost to do so?

Easiest Camera and additional lighting solution

Simply said, it doesn't get easier than this to have excellent lighting and quality monitoring at your front door. Took 2-minutes to install, and another 5-minutes to connect to the excellent Wyze app. We are using it on our front door which had lighting fixtures on both sides of the door. The camera side now clearly notifies visitors (invited and otherwise) that we are recording, but is otherwise quite inconspicuous. Lovely design. Yes, pay for the subscription so you have storage in case needed.

I wanted this set of products so that the porch lights would come on automatically when someone approached our door. Installation was easy and this solution lets me have a camera in a difficult place. However, the camera's movement detection is too sensitive even all the way down on the app's slider, the "detection zone" settings don't seem to make any difference, and the dimmest bulb brightness is too bright. The porch lights end up flashing on all night, triggered by the wind. I'm not completely satisfied with these products for my use case, but I am stumped as to another solution so I am leaving them installed for now. I do like Wyze products in general and have many bulbs and smart plugs automating lighting everywhere else in the house.
