The Wyze Bulb Cam requires an active internet connection to function properly because features like live streaming, event notifications, cloud recording, and remote access all rely on communicating securely with the Wyze servers through the app. Without a stable internet connection, the camera won’t be able to stream video, detect events, or send alerts as expected.
