Super easy install, but mediocre at detection

I bought the Wyze Bulb Cam because it allows me to use the existing front door light fixture without having to do any wiring. The install was extremely easy and the app helped with all the installation setup. My only problem is with the actual detection mechanism. The camera is either too sensitive (gets triggered by a leaf flying on the ground) or not sensitive enough (people have walked up all the way to my door and nothing is triggered). It's hit or miss most times and not very consistent. I've changed the settings to be more sensitive, then less sensitive to try to optimize the system, but with minimal success.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wyze Bulb Cam + Accessory Bulb

I replaced two smart bulbs and a regular camera with the Wyze Bulb Cam + Accessory Bulb. They were easy to install and the Bulb Cam gave a much better view than my original camera setup. I especially appreciate the ability to select the detection area, which minimizes alerts due to things like bushes waving in the wind.

The camera and the bulb are good but there are 3 problems: 1. Whe I tighten the bulb, the camera is facing upside down. In other words, camera should have been made to tilt/rotate 360 degrees which it is not, which is a design flaw; 2. the bulb stays on all the time which is a hige waste of energy epecially becase electric bills are sky high and 3. why do I have to pay for the app? In this day and age, no aone pays for a camera app. I have an app for my thermostat, for my doorbell, for my fridge etc. and all of them are free, so why do I have to pay for yours? I am rethinking my decision whether to keep or return the product.

Lights stay on all night, ugh

I bought two one for each entrance. I couldn’t use the front one because of my light cover. It was open on the bottom but too long for my new light fixture. I used the second one on my garage. My kids set it up and said get one for the front door and we’ll switch over this light fixture to a shorter one. I did but we haven’t done it yet. I’m not sure I’m impressed with leaving my lights on all the time, I could have done that without these security lights. Not worth the effort or the money.

Bad Bulb Cam

Will not connect to our Wyze WiFi network. Bulb cam will not connect despite multiple attempts to connect in different locations, all with a with strong WiFi signal. Have sent 3 logs to Wyze, but have received no response. I have multiple other Wyze cameras on many other Wyze products, and the Bulb Cam is the first one to fail to connect.
