I had to return this product about two weeks after receiving it. The laptop started with black screen crashes but would recover, then black screen crashes that would result in reboots. After doing some research and using some software tools such as HWiNFO64 I was seeing PCIe errors in the hundreds just idling with the desktop up. Come to find out is appears Asus has a known issue with these laptops hardware which they tried to resolve via BIOS/Firmware updates, which did not improve the issue for the majority of users. The problem was apparently not resolved until November 2025, when they made some changes in their production for the hardware and the BIOS/Firmware updates actually took hold. I have also seen many reports of power cord problems where it plugs into the laptop and reports of issues with the liquid metal cooling which Asus is said to be very reluctant to fix. It's a shame, my previous Asus went 15 years! that's why I went back but very disappointed in where the quality seems to be today. I am currently with out a laptop and unsure of what I am going to do about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
