Great Microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this microwave a few months ago. It offers many features that a regular microwave does not. For instance, grilling, baking and air-frying. I mainly use the air frying feature, and it seems be working well. I was able to get rid of my air fryer to clean up space in the kitchen. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is due to it only being 900 watts. Other than that, it seems to be holding up great to many uses. Also, I had to look this up, the fan continues to run even after the microwave has stopped. This is designed to help cool off the unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do Not Buy Terrible Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dangerous Moisture sensor keeps unit cooking after says "End" signal, Allows door to open with microwave running. Can't stop without unplugging. Air Fryer works ok. Grill poor-works for veggies not meat. Moisture sensor overcooks/dries out food. Outside of unit gets extremely hot. Cooking chart designed for college cooking of pizza and fries. Chart doesn't give times/power for codes.Needs excel spreadsheet. Does bake potatoes nicely

I expected much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So disappointed. If I set it for more than 2 minutes, it keeps running after the cooking time is up. And I would think that Whirlpool can afford a proof reader. The manual is hard to understand, lots of spelling and grammar errors making it hard to follow. Never again.

The manual is a trainwreck

We have been very happy with a Whirlpool over-range model microwave for over a decade. My, how they have fallen....
I'm on day one with this unit, and because of all of the modes, you really need to consult the manual. Unfortunately, the manual is a trainwreck. For example... "When the cooking is finished, the display will show the text 'End'. A reminder acoustic beep will signal. 1. After the Cooking End, If you press the STOP/UNLOCK button, takes out the food and closes the door again, the interface will display the clock, it will switch to 1-step door opening. 2. If you will not remove the food within 30 minutes, it will consistently display 'END' for 30 minutes, and automatically return to standby mode and unlock after 30 minutes and it will switch to 1-step door opening." I get that all these things are made in China or Korea, but for the love of all things holy, at least have an English-speaker review the manual.
We bought this microwave to use temporarily while we remodel a kitchen. The shoddy manual alone for this unit has taken Whirlpool off the shopping list for the new kitchen.

Complicated Instruction Booklet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m impressed that my microwave can do so many things, but trying to figure out how to use each feature is very frustrating. Your instruction booklet needs to be rewritten. It’s not very professional looking and sometimes the steps either aren’t listed, or don’t appear as expected. I hate it. Also the door is very loud when shutting it and it sounds tinny and cheap.

too many features
