Awesome Outdoor Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Roku Outdoor Camera SE is perfect for our home. I love how it has the Full HD video, motion detection and night vision on it. It works really well anytime of the day and night. I love the rechargeable battery that it came with, it lasts for a long time. It is also weatherproof as well, which makes it perfect for outdoor use. It has two-way audio, which makes it so much easier to communicate with outsiders as well. Over all this camera is perfect for our home. We love it.

Great picture, smart detection

The picture quality is great, very good detail. The motion activation is very responsive, i like that the notification has identifies cars, people or pet. Definitely worth purchasing

Not worth the money

Bought this to try to figure out what critters have been raiding the yard. WiFi reception is not very good so was hard to get it to connect where I wanted it. Then after probably only a month and a half the battery will not charge so it has to stay pugged in to even work, which for an outside camera is a real pain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

POOR PRODUCT SERVICE & NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

My cameras constantly lose connection to the Wi-Fi. I am unable to view my cameras immediately and they do not record properly. It is a horrible purchase. Please do not buy these Roku cameras. They are trash!!!

If you haven't tried it yet, move your camera closer to the base station and router for a short time. Also, reduce the number of devices using your network. If the connection gets better, it may mean that the router and camera need to be closer together or that you need to upgrade your internet speeds. WARNING!*** Anyone Logged into Your TV Can Watch

WARNING! If you have an Airbnb with a Roku TV, that guest will be able to view your Roku camera/s. Even with a PIN set your TV's will automatically get pop-up views of events that come across you cameras. This is VERY unsettling!

To clarify, the PIN on Roku devices only restricts purchases on your credit card — it doesn’t control access to Smart Home camera feeds. For short-term rentals, we strongly recommend enabling Guest Mode on all your Roku TVs to protect your personal accounts and settings during guest stays. Additionally, Roku Smart Home camera feeds and alerts can be shown on Roku TVs or players only if they've been enabled. You can easily manage which Roku devices have access by visiting: my.roku.com/account/smart-home. Just uncheck “Camera feeds” on any device you don’t want to display footage, like the Airbnb TV! Very easy to follow set up instructions.. my favorite thing about this camera is the alarm on it which I have already had to use. The only thing that needs improvement is the sound quality when you talk through the app it's like the person outside can't hear you! Picture quality is great.
