Handy little camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Roku Battery Camera SE for free in exchange for my personal opinion.
I set it up on my patio to keep an eye on a neighborhood cat that sleeps under my patio furniture, and it’s been great so far. Setup was quick — totally wireless and easy to connect through the Roku Smart Home app. The video quality is clear, and the night vision plus built-in spotlight make it easy to see what’s happening, even after dark. It’s been sitting outside on my patio through cold New England nights, and the weather resistance has held up perfectly. The IP65 rating really means something — no freezing, fogging, or water issues. The battery lasts a while, though it drains a bit faster in the cold, which is expected. Motion alerts work well (sometimes too well when leaves blow by), but it always catches the cat when she stops by. Overall, this little camera does exactly what I need — reliable, easy to use, and tough enough for New England weather.

Battery dies fast

I purchased this because it claimed the battery would last. I installed it September 3rd and one camera is already dead. I charged them both to max before putting up. It hasn’t even got cold here yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do have other Roku electronics and are familiar with using them. We have had good connection while using it, good battery life and decent motion detection. I would recommend this camera system.

Great quality surveillance!

We chose to install the camera in our duck house to keep an eye on our babies when away from home as well as at night due to predators being that it has night vision. Installing the unit was very easy with step by step instructions that were easy to follow and helpful. Once installed setup with the app was a breeze and we were able to use right away! (I charged the unit inside before installing with the solar panel). With the app there are an abundance of features ranging from live monitoring, live talk, night vision, recording, photo snap, zone setting, timers, and alarm system and so much more! I am so impressed with how much it has to offer especially without a subscription and even more with! The quality of the video feed is really good as well! I couldn’t be happier with the camera and would highly recommend if you’re in the market!

Great camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Roku smart home battery camera works great! It came with everything you need to get started, with easy the directions to follow. Installation was a breeze. I also love the roku home app feature for notifications and account settings. It's good for indoor or outdoor use. The picture quality, sound, and range is great. All in all I like this product. The only downside is you do have to get a subscription to get Motion notifications, and since the new firmware update it's been a little glitchy l, but I'm sure that will resolve itself.
