Super clear video! Works great!

The quality is super clear, it's also got motion alerts two way audio and person detection! I really like this camera because it's got every feature I wants in a camera!!! I need to buy more! I have this one powered with the usb cable so it's can stay charge!

don’t have to worry about charging it

The durability in the weather has held up remarkable in the battery. Life is great. That’s the one thing I love the most. I don’t have to worry about charging the battery and it lasts and lasts and lasts.

Great Camera, But I Wish It Had a Solar Option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out the Roku Battery Camera for monitoring my backyard, and overall, it’s a really solid device. I love that it’s totally weather-resistant. I don't have to worry about leaving it out in the rain or snow, which is a huge plus for outdoor tech.
The only reason I'm knocking off a star is the battery situation. It's battery-powered, which is convenient for placement, but it means I’ll have to constantly keep an eye on the charge and climb up to swap it out or recharge it. Honestly, I really wish Roku offered a solar-powered accessory or a solar version of this camera. It would make it a true set-it-and-forget-it security solution!
If you don't mind the occasional battery change, this camera is a strong performer and works seamlessly with the Roku Smart Home platform.

Great outdoor camera!

The picture quality is good and smooth as well. It is also easy to move it to different spaces on the outside of our home.

Good Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roku Battery camera has a long battery life and appears to be very durable. Comes with pieces to mount on a wall or outdoors. But could easily be set in a window for monitoring as well. Setup seemed straightforward, but we had some connection issues initially. It did not come with good setup instructions - the enclosed papers direct you to the app and online user guides. A basic user guide would have been nice to include in the box. The camera feed is very clear, and a light does come on with motion in the dark 👍 After the 14 day trial, you will need a subscription in order to utilize recording, alerts, etc. For now, we are just using this as a puppy cam, so no additional features are needed. We are SO BURNED OUT on everything that requires a subscription these days! We would pay more for a device to come right out of the box with all functionality. Overall, a good security camera with a slight lag that needs a solidwifi signal.

Affordable indoor/outdoor camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Affordable camera for indoor or outdoor use. It came with a wire charger, a mount, and screws for mounting. Very easy set up with little direction. Just charge it, get the app, and go from there. You need a subscription after 14 days to keep recordings. I didn’t need to mount since I am using it indoors. I put it on my mantle. I didn’t like that the camera lags when viewing. Not as clear as other security cameras I have used. I also wish that you could schedule when you want recordings when you are home so you don’t get notifications. Again, an affordable option but there are better cameras out there for a little bit more in price with better settings.
