Super powerful, can run games with ease, charges fast, doesn’t drain too bad for a gaming laptop and doesn’t run too too hot for a gaming laptop. Bought for engineering undergrad, and it should hold up great given how it runs games.

Durable, well-built laptop with an incredible screen. I'm a gamer, but I'm also a creator (photography, music). So I wanted a laptop that not only suited my games, but was easily portable and could operate well on battery. This fit the bill. I couldn't be happier with the product. It's very well made. And it's versatile for my needs. I got the RTX 5070 Ti version, and it's able to handle everything I throw at it. It has the best sound I've ever heard on a laptop. And it gives me all the ports I need (the SD card slot is a bonus).
I only have two nit-picky complaints. First: The Armory Crate tool is a little clunkly, filled with a bunch of things I don't really need. You can uninstall some modules, but you still need Armory Crate to control certain behaviors such as operating performance modes, fan speeds, and to keep updates on your computer. I feel like most of the tools could either be merged into the "My Asus" tool, or it could be simplified. If there was a light version, I would love it. Second, there are a few things I miss on the keyboard, such as full-sized arrow keys, or a "Print Screen" and "Insert" buttons (some of the software I use uses that...I have to map out macros, or I have to use Fn+Del for insert instead).

Standard windows bloatware, out of the box 30-40% of ram is already in usage. The trackpad is incredible, but is slightly loose, constantly wiggles when touched. And the major charging brick port is very loose, easily pops out.
