[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator has worked very well as an extra refrigerator. It is a very similar refrigerator we have in our cottage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the refrigerator. Had a frigidaire previously and lasted almost 14 years. My only complaint with this one is that there is no light in the freezer. Really stinks at night.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not too happy I got the fridge in I believe Dune or July and it stopped working about a week ago the bottom does not get cold anymore at all it's spoiled all of my food that I had went shopping for and when the repairman came to fix it he was only here about four minutes he said that the freezer had over froze and I needed to unthaw it and it would work then he left I did what he told me to and the freezer is barely working and the bottom half of it does not work at all we are living out of a cooler now
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice little work horse. Sleek design. I like the wide shallow drawer marked "Deli" it helps keep small items from getting lost. The ice maker has an on off button which is handy because i don't use a ton of ice!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall pretty happy with this refrigerator. I do feel the freezer could use a light in there and upgrade the lighting in the fridge, with side lights along with the top bulb. I understand adding these lights may cause the price to go up but I don't think by much and it would make this refrigerator almost perfect. I have noticed the ice in the ice maker freezes together to make a huge block of ice that needs to be broken apart and this only happens in the back of the ice bucket not in the front.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit to replace a big side-by-side that came with my house and was almost 20 years old. I was attracted by the energy efficiency, the generous amount of storage space for a relatively small fridge, and the fact that the stainless steel matches my other appliances.
There is a good amount of space, but I find the vegetable bin to be too small. Produce is one of the most important things I keep in the fridge, and I can barely cram it all in, and then have a hard time digging around for what I want to find.
The real problem, though, is the noise. I absolutely did not expect my new fridge to be this noisy. Aside from the volume, it's the kind of noise that bothers me. My old fridge hummed, but this one *buzzes*. The buzzing is really irritating. I've looked into this issue, and I keep seeing the explanation that this is the sound of new, high-efficiency compressors. If that's the case, I'd say it's not worth it. It is really a crazy-making sound, and it's not a good feeling knowing that I'm supposed to live with this thing in my home for 10 or more years.
I have a small house, and the noise permeates the entire space. I used to like to read at night, but I pretty much can't anymore because of the loud, irritating buzz.
Finally, I didn't think the lack of a freezer light would be a big deal, but it is annoying. It seems like such an easy thing to build in. This fridge has some attractive qualities, but I would not recommend it.
