It’s a good fridge, but …

Will wake you up, freeze eggs, possibly flood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is doing what it's supposed to be doing with a glitch here and there: eg. It froze a tall jar through and through, 5he jar was in top shelf in the refrigerator section directly under the cooling element, now this space is kept empty; on random days, the freezer section fills with heavy fog.
Since the day it was installed, this refrigerator makes so many weird, loud noises, screeching, moaning-noises as if someone else is in the kitchen in pain, chugging, rattling, crawling, flushing, we can hear it from the next room when it makes a loud boom and engine noises as if a plane taking off.

It also "flushes", we're afraid that we'll find puddles on the floor, the concern is that the drip pan is not removable, how to clean it?

It’s good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this fridge. It’s easy to clean, the drawers are great especially the deli drawer. The only thing I’d change is how cold it has to be set at for your water bottles to be cold. My water is on the bottom shelf and they won’t be cold unless the temp is set to almost as cold as it goes.

20 cf refrigerator

We had more space in this new house so we went up in size a little and are thoroughly enjoying the added space. The refrigerator runs quietly and keeps our food cold. We have purchased Frigidaire appliances exclusively for a long time and they don’t let us down.

HT models appear to be the Energy Star rated and quieter.

Models with HT in the model numbers appear to be the Energy Star rated refrigerators that have quiet compressor motors. We had a FFTR2045V that made a very high pitched loud humming sound whenever the compressor was running that had temperature control issues that we replaced with a FFHT2045V that is a lot quieter and will cost less to run for a few dollars more. The Energy Guide tag does make a difference, wish we had known that when we bought it but the store only had the cheaper one in stock so we learned a lesson. Hope this helps otherwise, the two refrigerators are the same in all other regards.
