Cumbersome!!!

I loved the mini sound link, and replaced the first one after it failed. Then the second one gave up the ghost, and I discovered the model was discontinued. I ordered this item because the Bose radios I have are great (though I have less success trying to play CD's on them). But to this speaker. It is REALLY heavy!! And bulky. The sound is very good, but I used the mini sound link all over the house, and I simply don't consider this very portable, due to the bulk and the weight. This isn't an equivalent replacement for the mini, and I wish they had not discontinued it. And this speaker is pricey. If I played a lot of music I might order a few for various rooms (if I wanted to spend my money that way) because the sound is fine, but I am more podcast and book streaming oriented, and I just don't need that kind of sound quality for the spoken voice. (Bose asked for a review, by the way.)

So far so good as sound and bass . Only problem is connection on Bluetooth with my iPad to Bose speaker. It kept cutting off . I’ve been updating my Bose portable speaker . Still the same and even followed some tips to removed any other speakers attach to my iPad which is also Bose speakers ( soundlink, portable , quiet comforts) .

Really great sound, good portability and easy to use. Connects really quick with my mobile device - terrific product. Have been a Bose fan for a long time and you folks don't disappoint with your products!

I Love The Bass in The Default Settings without boosting the the BASS! I was actually surprised by the overall sound quality. If I had known it was this good, I would not have purchased the the 2nd Generation Soundlink. I do plan to purchase a mate for the plus due to the impressive and unexpected sound quality!!
