We do understand your disappointment if you are experiencing system crash with DX12 error. To resolve this, update Windows, chipset and video drivers, BIOS if this laptop is running with older version. Updates for this laptop are posted at: https://rog.asus.com/us/laptops/rog-strix/rog-strix-scar-16-2025/helpdesk_download/ . Best Upgrade Choice For Any New Laptop On Today

This is the second ASUS ROG laptop I’ve owned and my first js still going strong after 9 years of service. I downsized to the 16 inch screen for easier travel and very pleased with speed, performance and easy setup for 2 users. The only reason for the upgrade was the older ROG laptop i7 processor does not support the newer Windows. Beyond that both of these ROG laptops are the best investments I’ve every made regarding Windows PC.

Best in its class and you can't beat the door buster deal! Runs circles around anything and everything I throw at it. Stable and quiet for the beast that it is. Runs warm NOT HOT dour high intense gaming but what do you expect for discrete RTX 5090 laptop! Won't be disappointed....

Great purchase and exceptional performance thus far. I have only had it for month. So I would make full extensive review but so far pleased with performance and biult quality. Glad to see ROG rectified the mistakes of past strix scar by incorporating iris scanner with windows hello and the optional Num pad on the track pad just adds icing to the cake. Absolutely recommend this purchase if you can stomach the price.
