This computer is the only electronic device in my house that has a problem staying connected to my Wi-Fi. Not only does it disconnect from the Wi-Fi but the option to turn on the Wi-Fi and select a network is gone, I mean the box is missing so I have to restart the computer. Sometimes more than ounce. But the most recent problem is when I start any card game the casino ads freezes while the sound still plays. When the timer turns to an x no matter how many times, I push to close nothing happens. I have to restart the computer. I am really thinking about returning it.
It has been real easy to use but I am having printer issues hooking up to my new comp and I cant seem to get any help for HP
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this computer mainly to upgrade to Windows 11 as my other HP computer was not able to upgrade. I am very happy to have bought this one, so far I am truly enjoying it and the price was reasonable. I have bought HP's computers and printers in the past and have had a nice experience with them all.
I am not at all tech savvy, so I was very pleased with how easy this was to set up. Had to wait for it to do several updates, then was asked several questions regarding how much access I wanted HP/microsoft to have. I opted out of cloud (which I have never used and don't really want to start), and transferred my account/settings to the new computer. I was pleasantly surprised that it copied over all my bookmarks, and my home screen looks just like my previous HP set up. We were very happy with previous HP, but only has Windows 10. New one is completely quiet, smaller, and much faster-love it!
I've had this desktop computer for a bit over a month -- and I'm thrilled with how it has been working. I was able to easily transfer my files from my older desktop (over 10 years old!) -- and now have been enjoying the speed of this new computer (and Windows 11).
Good basic desktop PC, no frills, but very adequate

Good value PC, nothing fancy but has everything you need for day to day use, adequate memory, good AMD CPU, large SSD capacity. Over the last few years, HP has cheapened the basic keyboard and mouse that come with the desktop, but they work. Also, I/O has been reduced to eliminate onboard SD slot, as well as a DVD drive...but more and more units are moving to USB C connected devices, so I guess the user has to get in the habit of providing. For years, HP had great SD etc. capability built in, but this is a no frills desktop that works great, but you won't be upgrading for gaming, but for what is need for email, internet, SSD storage and basic home computing it is a good value unit.
Common faulty desktop, loud click as either a fan startup or relay engages. Also the botton USB-C port is dead or not hooked up. It takes a good amount of time to update patches and from a cold start over 30 seconds to boot up. I loved my last two Pavilion machines. I thought this would be an upgrade at a good price. Google noise from HP OmniDesk, I returned the first machine they sent me, the second replacement has the same issue... very common.
