We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the frustration. We would not expect you to need to disconnect your hose and regulator every time you grill, and we want to assist.
It sounds like your grill may be in a safety mode known as “bypass." What’s happening is that the regulator thinks there’s a gas leak, so it reduces the pressure. Follow these instructions to reset the bypass safety mode. This is not only the reset, but also how you want to light your grill each and every time.
Open the lid Make sure all knobs are in the off position (including side burner if applicable) Turn your LP tank on all the way Wait 60 seconds *very important* Light the first burner Turn on all remaining main burners, one by one Close the lid Let your grill preheat to 450°F
Please look for our email outreach soon. Thank you!
I wasn’t going to spend this much on a new grill but decided to splurge on a Weber since they seem to built much better than other less expensive brands. Now I see why. They are sturdy and so easy to light and use. I think the lighting aspect is my favorite feature.
This grill lives up to the Weber name. It is well built. Assembly was incredibly easy. I live by myself so this size is ideal. So far, it has preformed perfectly. VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this grill and couldn’t use it because the regulator assembly was leaking. Replaced it from another store and had the exact same issue! We thought the Weber brand was top of the line but this grill has been a major disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. We are really sorry to hear about the gas leak. Most times it is caused by the propane tank gasket being bad. We can help you check into this further. Please look for an email outreach from us soon. Thank you!
