I did my research and everything came back as Weber having the best quality. I don't cook out often and I don't cook that many pieces of meat at one time, so my research also said a 2-burner would be the right size for me. I have been very happy with my choice; it's so easy to use.
I have only used our Weber E-210 a few times for steak, chicken breasts, pork chops and hamburgers and it has done a great job each time. I love the built-in thermometer and the easily removable parts for cleaning.
We had to buy a new Spirit to replace our 15 year old one. As expected, it ignites on one try, heats up quickly, grills evenly. My only wish is that it had 4 wheels vs 2. As we’ve been a Weber owner, our new grill met our expectations!
My first Weber Grill, so I didn’t know what to expect. I’m learning heat curves and cook times with my new grill. It seems to ignite well and cook evenly. So far so good.
I recently bought this grill to replace the exact same model I had owned for 10 years before it literally fell apart. I chose it because I knew and trusted the Weber brand. This is the third Weber I’ve owned in a row. Compared to the previous two, this model looks and feels cheaper and poorly built. The parts feel flimsier, especially the handle and wheels. My biggest disappointment, however, is with what matters most — the heat. It takes an unacceptable amount of time to reach high heat and it tops out at under 550F, not nearly hot enough to sear my steaks. This is a good entry-level grill, but for $450 there are plenty of alternate options worth considering. Weber needs to step up its game if it wants to remain relevant in an increasingly crowded space.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
