My first Weber and we decided to go smaller so went with the e210. While the grill does cook evenly, it lacks the higher temperatures that I have been used to seeing.
I suspect the reason is two burners? (I had always had a 3 burner grill)
The lower temperature is the reason for the mediocre rating. Weber should be upfront regarding that limitation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had 5 Weber grills This is a good product at this price point. Assembly instructions are all pictorial, which isn’t bad however there are a few places in the assembly process where the pictures are insufficient to clearly show where/how a few connections go. The lack of clarity can produce some misunderstanding and the need to reassemble. I’m a fairly handy person with tools and mechanical tasks, so if you have the option buy the unit assembled.
Nice Grill, but the cast iron grates on this one don't same to allow the heat to transfer like the stainless steel ones on my old grill. My last Weber lasted me over 20yrs and was great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your feedback and for being a long-time Weber fan! We understand the difference between grate styles can take some adjustment and we apologize for any disappointment so far.
Porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates take a little longer to preheat, but should transfer and maintain their heat very well once they are hot! We recommend preheating your grill for 10-15 minutes at 450F before adding your oiled food to the grates.

Had this grill for a couple months used 2 - 3 times a week I have cooked fish, sausage, streaks burgers, Chicken, and veggies all wth no problems. Replaced a 20 year old grill that was worn out. I do recommend this grill as it fits my needs. Overall the grill works fine and heats up fast. I have found that it does not give a good sear marks on foods, it does cook fine just cannot get good sear marks without over cooking the food. Grill reaches to just under 500 degrees. The side shelves are painted metal. The hooks for holding accessories are recessed and accessories may need to have a bit of line on them to hang on the hooks. The wheels are to small, I have to lift the grill to get it over the 3/4 inch lip (not sloped) threshold of my garage backdoor, and will not roll on my cobbelstone patio. The chain hanging match holder (for lighting the grill if the auto lighting fails) needs to have a place to store it were it does not get in the way when moving the grill. Then non-wheel legs bottom 4 inches are a thick replacable plastic so they shouldn't rust out. The tank storage area needs to be fully enclosed if you live in a rural area and you leave the grill outside as insects and critters will get inside and make homes. The wheel size is the biggest issue, and I am looking for a replacement of the 6 inch plastic wheels wth something taller an wider, this is due to my cobblestone patio. The original wheels should not be a issue for most people.
