Nice little grill. Perfect for "empty nesters". But need to adjust after 20 or so years with one of Weber's much larger grills with more features.

I have owned this model before and the build quality as well as materials have really become poor. My previous one lasted over 12 years without issue. I am afraid this one will not make it that long. Also when using the lid handle gets so hot you need an oven mitt. It will do the job, but I am disappointed.

Love the grill, EXCEPT the design is such that i find it very difficult to open the front door and reach in to turn the gas tank valve open. It is worse when the grill is hot after grilling to turn the knob off without burning my arm. The old design allowed one to access the knob from the side of the enclosure.
I now pull the grill out to access the tank knob from the rear without a door obstructing my arm

Very disappointed in the drop of "Weber Quality"

We bought this same model in 2012. It lasted 13 years with little maintenance. We loved it, so we bought this same one again. The drop in quality is terrible! The previous one was all stainless steel, the trays dropped down in this model, there was a tank scale, there were 4 locking wheels, and there was a back panel (why is the back panel gone?). Not to mention that the grill grates were thicker, better quality and fit without sliding around. Very disappointed, no way this one will last 13 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
