I don't like the no propane gauge or fixed shelves. Makes it difficult to put the cover on
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a Genesis grill with 5 burners for many years and loved it. When I had to decide whether to update my Genesis grill with new parts or buy a new grill I opted for purchasing a new grill. I chose the Spirit 210 since I no longer needed the additional grill space with the Genesis grill now that I am retired. I love, love, love the Spirit grill even though I have only used it for 2 months. It is the perfect size for my needs. Even though I gave up the side burner from the Genesis grill, it was easy and reasonable to purchase a single stand alone butane burner which stores conveniently in the Sprit grill propane storage area( just the burner, not the butane cartridges).
We moved and sold our 15 yr old Weber. We replaced it with a new, same size, and model because of the quality and durability .We are happy with cook top and igniters. The design qualities are different. The side counter top space is hard plastic, not stainless steel, like before. It also only has 2 wheels for moving opposed to the 4 easier moving wheels. It starts easily, heats well, and meets our expectations.
