I recently bought this grill to replace the exact same model I had owned for 10 years before it literally fell apart. I chose it because I knew and trusted the Weber brand. This is the third Weber I’ve owned in a row. Compared to the previous two, this model looks and feels cheaper and poorly built. The parts feel flimsier, especially the handle and wheels. My biggest disappointment, however, is with what matters most — the heat. It takes an unacceptable amount of time to reach high heat and it tops out at under 550F, not nearly hot enough to sear my steaks. This is a good entry-level grill, but for $450 there are plenty of alternate options worth considering. Weber needs to step up its game if it wants to remain relevant in an increasingly crowded space.

Cheaper quality than previous model this replaced

This new model is of cheaper quality than previous model it replaces. Instead of four wheels, now there are only two making moving around more inconvenient. There’s no longer a propane hanging gauge which was a great feature before. I hope the internals are still of the high quality Weber is known for.

Purchased this new over a lower priced brand and couldn't be more disappointed. Two panels began rusting within 4 months of purchase. Propane door won't line up as frame easily shifts, door ends up scratching frame when closing. Weber advised me to reassemble entire unit and it did nothing other than waste a few hours of my weekend. Regret buying, first Weber product I have ever owned, heard good things but very disappointed.
