Insanely noisy spin cycle with hammering noise

The washer is designed very poorly; when it spins the entire door visibly bulges out and makes a loud noise. 5 attempts at repairing it and the resolution from LG was that this is how the unit is. I had many washers in my life and while I do enjoy the auto-dispenser, having the unit hammer loudly throughout my entire home during each spin cycle makes this model absolutely terrible, don’t buy.

If only it worked!

Washes well. Many cool features, IF it worked. Sometimes has trouble getting loads balanced for rinse/ spin cycles, but it eventually does. Always displays " Low Fabric Softener", EVEN WHEN FULL AND CLEANED OUT. Must crouch down to read details on display. Not very bright at brightest setting, and narrow viewing angle. Also, must get on knees to refill dispensers. Guess I'm stuck w it since there appears to be no fix for the eZ- dispense problem. I've had 2 replacement drawers installed. Last one also had problem with detecting detergent.

For balance‑related interruptions, confirming the washer is level and redistributing heavier items can help cycles transition into spin more easily. A washer that works as hard as I do

The drum is no joke, king bedding, comforters, oversized towels, all in one shot. I’m a big fan of the touchscreen, is clean and intuitive, no fumbling through confusing menus. ezDispense is the real standout, fill the reservoir once and it automatically doses the right amount of detergent, i don’t have to be measuring every time. This machine just works, and it makes laundry day feel effortless.

Looks Incredible, Super Quiet and Insane Capacity

So yes, I got this product as a gift through my son but everything I'm saying is completely honest. This is the most elegant laundry machine I have ever seen and it feels like you can put an endless amount of clothes in the washer before it's full. I'm still learning all the washer settings but so far it's been pretty easy to learn. The touchscreen makes it very easy to use. When it's running it's really quiet when you consider how much it's washing. I tried the fast wash mode the other day and it was done in 30 minutes. It's a really complete and luxorious washing machine... And I never thought I would say the word luxorious when talking about a washing machine. I also never thought I would invite guests into the laundry room to show off my washing machine but I'm doing that now too... :)

Looks super sleek and modern while simple to use. The automatic detergent dispenser is very convenient since it will measure out the appropriate amount for every wash. Very large capacity makes it easy to washing bedding in one go. There are a lot of handy cycles like the steam cleaning and self clean options.

Quiet, Easy to Use, and Handles Large Loads

I’ve been really happy with this washer so far. It’s extremely easy to use and so so quiet, which makes a big difference since our laundry area is close to our main living space. The machine looks super sleek, offers a lot of different cycle options, and it’s easy to choose the right setting depending on what you’re washing. I also like that the machine uses water very efficiently, so you don't end up using excessive water.
One of the things I appreciate most is the large capacity. It handles very large loads with no problem, and I’ve been able to wash bulky items like comforters super easily. Everything comes out very clean, and the controls are simple and straightforward.
Overall, it’s a great washer that’s quiet, and very easy to use!

Quiet, Powerful, and a Big Upgrade

We’ve been using the WM9900HSA and it’s been a great upgrade. It has a large capacity, so I can wash bedding and towels in fewer loads, and the spin cycle leaves clothes noticeably drier. It’s also much quieter than our old washer.
We also purchased the matching washer pedestal, which I highly recommend. The added height makes loading and unloading much more comfortable, and the extra storage space is a bonus.
I like how sleek it looks and how easy the controls are to use. Overall, it feels high-end, efficient, and does a thorough job cleaning. I’m really happy with it so far.
