Run Away

Bought a Roku indoor camera and installed a 32 gig card. After downloading the app, I could view events on the card through the app and view through the camera real time on my phone.
I purchased 2 more cameras and was going to install them but I could not see new events anymore. Tried to backup and reload the memory card but it still wouldn’t show new events. After reading the instructions again, I am not getting new events on the memory card so I tried to call for support. No support! Chat bot support is worthless and NO REAL SUPPORT !!!
I would NOT suggest buying the Roku line of products because when they do not work, you will have no recourse. BTW I have 3 Roku indoor cameras for sale cheap…

Hello Dandy! Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I want to clarify that the SD card slot is available only on the older two-legged indoor camera model (CS1000X). The newer one-legged model (SCS11R) does not include an SD card slot. If you’d like to view recorded video events, you can sign up for a Roku Smart Home Subscription. Removed feature without notice

I have three of the Roku indoor cameras. When I got them one of the features I liked was that it would take still images of motion detection and it would do this without a subscription. I was having some work done at my home so I signed up for subscription to get video recordings instead of just still images during the time the work was being completed. After the work was done, I canceled the subscription because it was no longer needed. After canceling I noticed I was no longer getting the still images I got before. After contacting customer support, they said that feature had been removed and they were sorry I did not get a notice about it. That was a great feature and one of the reasons I purchased this brand camera. Now the camera is useless to me and I’m going to be shopping for a different brand camera
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been trying to get the dual pack cameras to interface my wifi for three weeks to no avail. Returning them today for another brand.

I love it!!

I have a covered back porch, so I'm using it outside. Porch has 2 doors, and I leave both open. I put out food and water for wildlife, but up to now I didn't know what I was feeding. (the food was always gone in the morning) Guess what!! Not only do I get feral cats, but also possums, and raccoons. Last night I had a fox out there, snacking!! My Roku camera alerts me when a guest shows up, so I can observe them, and even hear them due to the "sound" feature. That camera is the best thing I have spent money on in the last year. And the price was so reasonable! I rate it an A++++.

Setting it up was simple, hook it up, download the app and boom, done! I use it to watch when my younger nephews and nieces are over to visit and we are not in the same room, also when not home to see what my crazy bulldog is doing! It is an excellent choice for added security in your home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is awesome. I have the indoor camera. The picture quality is superb. It also has a microphone speaker on it. I love this to keep an eye on my grandson. It even has an alert for motion detection. That way I can tell when he is awake from his nap. You cant beat the price for this camera!
