Roku cameras ans smart home app SUCK

Roku and their misrepresentation of their indoor security cameras. They tell you that you do not need a subscription to view still pics in events, now they say they you cant. it just stopped abruptly yesterday afternoon. Customer service is stupid, they need to learn how to read, and comprehend english and stop reading from a script. best advice: STAY AWAY from ROKU for small devices like cameras and such and definitely dont call CS, they are the dumbest. Corp will be hearing from me. Their smart home app is a joke as well

I received this as a gift from my sister to help me keep an eye on my aquariums and cats whilst at work..lol... so far it's been working as expected. Although, there was a couple of times I had to reset the camera. But it's been great since the last reset. I did have to turn off notifications for pets and people because I would check the camera playback it would be no pets or people, which is what my notifications were set for and it would be back to back notifications. Very annoying. Literally, every minute. 40% of notifications were correct. I'm sure I'm not using it to it's full function. But it works great for what I need it for which is an occasional peak into the room.

The 360 cameras are bricks. Just purchased two new 360s to replace one that went bad in less than a year. The first one lasted less than 24 hours and the second one had already been returned before because it was not packed right. It didn’t even turn on. Junk. Do not get the 360. The other Roku cameras we use have not given us this problem.

Bought 2 of these cameras to watch my cat who started having seizures. At 7 months, one of my cameras wouldnt stay turned on. Then a week later my other camera magically stopped working. Spent 2 hours troubleshooting to get no where. Their customer service does not listen, just reads off a script, and hate to be like this but. Does not speak or understand English well. They claim to have sent replacements, but can't find tracking due to technical difficulties. Convenient.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
