The Open Run Pro 2 is great. The battery charge lasts a long time and the C charging port is so convenient.

I have been using your product sence the beginning. These are the 5th or 6th pair I've owned. I have always enjoyed them. I love not having anything inside of my ears. I wear them all day and don't even notice that I'm wearing them. The sound has improved with each new model. I love them.

Got these for running after I realized how dangerous my ear in buds were. I was skeptical about the sound and comfort over my ears. I absolutely love these headphones. Great sound and allows me to hear my surroundings. I use them for all my works outs and in general they are great headphones.

Not sure how I feel about these.

Fit is okay. Still a little big even with the mini. Sound is decent but my most recent headphones are first gen AirPods so everything is an upgrade. Bluetooth drops on iPhone frequently. Ordered during a special and was supposed to get a free gift that didn’t arrive. Considering returning.

Open Run Pro 2 upgrade
on October 25, 2025

I had the Open Run standard V1s and hoped the sound quality would be better at the new price point.
- It sounds exactly the same as it's predecessor. Good for low noise environments, and don't expect any punch from the bass, although it is audible.
- It's heavier on the ears which makes all day use not possible for me as it was with the V1s.
- There is "sound bleed" due to the directional speakers. People can hear what I'm listening to where in the past, I was often asked if they were hearing aids as they were silent to observers.
- The magnetic charging connection has been replaced with a USB-C connection. While USB-C is nice as it's universal, the magnetic charging function was perfect, and I did not mind using an extra cable for a single device. The USB-C port will be exposed to dirt/water/debris if you break the rubber "latch" that you open to charge it. This means that with normal use you will eventually break it. Also the USB-C port can get worn out where as the magnetic one could not.
- The buttons are an improvement, as is the microphone quality.

The open run two is not just bone conduction… People can hear what you’re listening to…

I’m surprised that when I listen thru my open run 2’s that other people can hear what I’m listening to… And I am not listening to things that are loud. I thought bone conduction was going to make that not possible. It makes it very hard to do what I was going to do with these. I am in the blind community and my peers have very good ears and it’s distracting to have me listening on my headset when it’s not keeping the soynd to just “my bones”.

Not as loud as the older version

The volume of the Shokz Pro 2 is not as loud as the previous version, although the sound quality is more refined. Additionally, I can hear a static sound coming from the device, which is why I have decided to return it.

I love the Open Pro

I love the Open Pro 2. I often talk on the phone while outside. With the OpenRun the wind noise would sometime make it hard for the person I was talking with to hear. The wind noise could be very loud. That issue disappeared with the OpenPro 2.
