Good but not the BEST

I have had several pair of the Open Comms headsets by this company and I didn't realize how well they were in sound quality vs the Open Run Pro 2. This headset works well, but the sound quality is my only complaint. The headset is clear for calls and work great for that purpose. But for listening to music, they need to be improved for better sound quality.

Glad I measured and used the size guide. It led me to the mini, and the fit is great (5’10” male, 175lbs). They stay put nicely and the open ear concept is great. The sound quality is not as good as an in or on-ear headphone, but sound is very good for a bone-conduction design. I do find that when cycling, I have to turn the volume up pretty loud to hear over the inherent wind noise that comes with cycling. I think ambient sound is still more audible than a non-open ear design, but the loud volume needed still drowns out a good bit of the ambient, sort of defeating the purpose.

Brilliant Audio Quality and Fit

I’m training for my first marathon and so happy I decided to treat myself to an upgraded pair of Shokz. The bass quality is phenomenal for a bone conduction headphone, and as a bass player I would know. They also fit comfortably without slipping or bouncing on long sweaty runs. I love my Shokz.

I am a news and information Junkie and love both shocks open run and pro version. I love talking to AI while on beach walks or even in the foreign supermarket on vacation - with full situational awareness. Both models exceeded my expectations.
