My new Shokz open run

My new Shokz open run pro 2’a sound great and are an upgrade from my original open run pro’s. The only thing I don’t like is the new charger. I wish I was like the original pair that was a magnet.

Initially dropout of signal from Apple Music, on brand new headphones direct from the manufacturer. Sure enough, there was a firmware update, then they worked perfectly.
I have used the former model for many years and one of the buttons became less reliable.
Great upgrade with sound quality (especially base), external noise reduction, and call quality.
Like all headsets sitting above the ear, placement with glasses a little more challenging, but no problem occurs even on long runs.

I have a pair or Open run. I and very happy with then. I Thought I would upgrade to the Pro 2.
The 2 things I was hoping to get was better sound and higher volume and the most important was I was hoping that the Bluetooth connection would be better.
Well I was disappointed. The sound quality is better but the volume is not any higher and the Bluetooth connection and distance is worse. Not Happy anymore with Shokz

I like the improvements in sound. I don't like the new USB charging. However, no issues with the amount of sweat I produce so far.

They're just right

For years I've avoided earbuds. I hate the idea of shoving those things in my ears and then reusing them. They become dirty with earwax and they are uncomfortable after a while. Big headphones are a no-go as they get hot, are too big, and frankly, look ridiculous. I've been eyeing Shokz for a few years now as it seems to have everything I've wanted: comfort, good sound quality, easy to carry them around, and they don't go inside your ear! I had high hopes that these may be a Goldilocks product for me, but I kept my expectations low.
Literally the moment I put them on I was blown away. These have exceeded my expectations. They sound great, I can't believe they're not inside my ears and I can still hear the world around me when I'm exercising outside. Phone calls are clear and everyone is telling me they can hear me better using the OpenRun Pro 2! I talk so much on the phone while doing stuff and speakerphone hasn't been great. These are a huge improvement. Now I can be working out, hiking, running, or going grocery shopping and phone calls have been better than ever.
I like the controls on the headset. They're easy to use, especially the button to answer phone calls. The volume is easy to use and navigating songs is a breeze. They pair very quickly via Bluetooth. Honestly, this has been the best Bluetooth product I've used. No issues whatsoever! Finally, the battery is great. It charges in less than an hour and I can use it for about 4-6 days without needing to recharge it, depending on usage of course. I am very happy with my purchase and I have no regrets. My only regret is that I haven't gotten them sooner!

Great for Long Bike Rides

I absolutely love the OpenRun Pro 2 for long bicycle rides. The open-ear design lets me stay aware of traffic while enjoying music with surprisingly good sound quality. The fit is secure and comfortable even on longer rides.
The only thing I’d change is the auto-off feature—it seems to stop after about 2 hours if there's no interaction. I have to pause and restart it mid-ride. It would be great if there were an option to disable that so I could listen for 3–4 hours straight without interruption.
