I was sad to have to return these. They were quality product but were not sufficient for my application. The background noise canceling wasn’t adequate enough to have a phone conversation in a noisy environment. Nor loud enough to overcome that noise. So both directions it lacked. My needs also required voice commands which I hoped I could get around without. But, not so much!
A gym or office environment and free hands would deem this a great product I could get used to.

Misleading battery life

Love the new open run pro 2, however the battery life is misleading. 7-8 hrs is more reasonable. No where near the claimed 12 hrs battery life. My old open run battery last longer. Either way, a huge improvement over the old one.

Disappointed Shokz doesn’t endorse product exchanges, only returns. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope Shokz can embrace better customer care policies in the future. Very disappointed.

Solid quality but weighs on ears after about 1 hour

Decent quality sound, but nothing impressive. Solid battery life, weight on ears gets uncomfortable after about an hour compared to the older models.

Good but I might have bought the Mini if I had a chance to try both

The sound quality is great in low ambient noise environments. If you work in a place that’s loud you might as well get regular Shokz headphones because the sound your eardrum hears naturally will drown out the sound over bone conduction. Great for medium to low noise environments that require communication with teammates. I work in an aircraft manufacturing facility and depending on the time of day and what’s going on around me I have a 5-star and 1-star experience. That’s not a reflection on the headphones though, just where I’m using them. I’d really like to try the minis, but I already made my purchase so it is what it is. I frequently have to put the back of my head against a rolling creeper to get underneath the aircraft and the regular headband hits the headrest and pushes the headphones away from my head. If Shokz let me try out a mini version and it didn’t have that issue I’d recommend it to all of my colleagues. Right now using the full sized headphones and sometimes having to use earplugs when riveting is going on around me… they work well, but I still can’t give them a 5. I wish there was a 3. 5-4 for my specific use and application. I heard the mini version is better for people who have to rest the back of their head on things during work but I can’t afford a second pair to try it out and review that experience. I wear them for about 12 hours a day while wearing safety glasses and have no issues with comfort.

Easy to set up, I forget it's even on at times while its on my head. Works all day for music and streaming. Highly recommended then ear buds. It's just right
