I love my Shokz!

I am a huge fan of Shokz head phones. I love the open ear design and bone conduction tech. I didn't realize until I tried Shokz that I hate having anything in my ear and hate not being able to hear my surroundings. Shokz Open Run Pro 2 are perfect for running, walking the dogs, or just wearing around the house.

This is my fifth pair of your headphones. Excellent in every way. I just finished a round of golf and there was no discomfort & I was able to take a few calls without distracting or disturbing my fellow golfers. 😊

Open Run Pro 2 Disappoint

I’ve tried the open run pro 1 in a store and they were impressive. I own the open fit 2 as well, and they sound good too. But the open run pro 2 was terrible. Maybe I got a defective model, but they sounded like AM radio. I tried several different sound profiles and moving them around my ears, but could not find a combination that sounded anywhere close to acceptable. Had to return them.

I've had all three of shokz's flagship headphones, the last one being in daily use for three years, with zero issues ever. Still, I decided to upgrade to the newest model because I wanted the USB charging port. But the sound is also so much better, and the updated Bluetooth version makes going back and forth between the sound on my phone and my computer so much better. It's automatic and seamless, where the last pair I would regularly have to restart the headphones to get it to switch from my phone to my computer. Its honestly made my life so much easier and that wasn't even why I decided to upgrade.

I can’t imagine using any other headphones for running. Being able to hear as I’m running is such a relief! They have great sound and fit securely.

I know you can't just slap a 2 on it and call it new but so close. The sound and sound perception is absolutely better. however there are many things that are good but just miss the mark.
USBc great that it is now common. don't like the flap is it more water proof? can't hardly open the port really liked the shokz charger unless I forgot it then I am SOL so is new better idk
button action I like that it is more tactile and that the voice and tones are less harsh I appreciate the "battery low recharge" message is gone
volume while the sound is more dynamic it seems to be quieter than the previous 5 units that I have owned. and when I try to lower the volume so I can listen to white noise at night it goes only so low and then cuts out so it seems the high and low ends are just missing from previous models. I have only noticed this once but when I am sweating or get wet the sound quality has gone up in previous models but for some reason when these get wet they seem muffled like the majority of the sound is coming from the speakers and not from the bone conducting again this only happened once as I am not trying to get this wet. battery life rocks!! feel and look are on point, I just don't feel they are better than the previous version of this product
