Not functioning on phone calls

Paired properly to iPhone 16 pro max and audio works well in all functions, except phone calls.
My older Shokz open run Pro set does not have this issue. What am I doing wrong?

This is my third pair of Open Air headphones. I love the quality! Each pair is more comfortable than the last. I started with the standard size. I couldn't lay down in those. I got the minis and they worked great. I had to get the new pro 2 in size mini and I'm so glad I did. They are exceptional!

I love my Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 headphones. The quality of sound is absolutely amazing. They are comfortable and so lightweight that you are not aware they are on ear, unless you are listening to them. They are easy to operate as well. I like the idea that they are not in your ear or completely cover your ear. You still have the ability to hear the surroundings around you while listening to your favorite music, podcast, video, streaming capabilities, etc. at the same time. This is a great product to have while on the go or not.

Good quality, but worse sound

This was an upgrade from the Openrun Pros, and unfortunately, the sound quality and volume is quite reduced in comparison. The quality is still great and the connection to my phone is good, but the volume is not great.

Had my shokz pro for about 2 weeks, and i can day that the sound is really good. Not only do they stay on my head, but I forget that im even wearing them. To be honest I do struggle to hear in loud areas, like airplanes or with my fans blowing on me. But i love them for wearing while I go shopping, or work around the house, or during my workouts in the garage without the fans.

I love being able to connect to my laptop, work and personal cellphone at the same time. Sound quality app is easy and simple. Battery life better than the 1st and 3rd gen I've had. I hope the 10th gen is more durable.
