Two steps forward. . . One step back

I appreciate the deeper sound on the open run pro 2 and the longer battery life and the EQ
However I do not like that there's a delicate rubber flap over the charging port, and if I pause my music for any significant amount of time there's about a 25% chance that I have to turn off the headphones and turn them back on in order to start listening to music again (this was not a problem with the original open run)

My 4th Pair!

As a hiker and biker, I am a big fan of these headphones. The ability to listen to music while also hearing what is going on around you us a great benefit. I have been able to talk most of the people in our cycling group to purchase them too. My only concern is that I am not getting quite the battery life they claim I should.

I adore my Shokz since the early OpenRun models- I have owned and enjoyed the Pros, OpenComm, and now love the enhanced Pro 2. Bass definitely is even crisper than before! I will always choose Shokz over the inferior imitators: they have earned my loyalty.

Finally Upgraded from Aeroplex

Great sound overall. The new technology delivers as promised. These headphones still give you the ability to have situational awareness while running. The bone conduction mode is decent but pales in comparison to bass boost.
If you’re considering upgrading now is the time.
One thing I will miss is the soft voice that was on the aeroplex. The beeps are kind of annoying IMO. Small gripe and totally subjective.
Please understand when you buy these that these headphones aren’t designed to give great sound if you’re doing something like mowing your yard. I tried it. Didn’t work. LOL
Great product, great brand, great warranty, customer for life.

This is my third purchase and upgrade, purchased the entry level when they were “aftershokz” and a pair of open run pro’s about three years later when I decided, since I never take them off my head, it’s time for an upgrade! Same goes for my new pair of pro 2’s. What a great improvement, definitely recommend to everyone I see!!
