Great except for one thing . . .

Will not read text messages as they come in. This is a big let down for me especially if I am doing a 15-20 mile run. I will have to stop my run pull out my phone and check to see if I have gotten any texts. Other than that the headphones work great

Great Improvement - mostly

I will start this review by stating that I have been a shokz user since they were aftershokz. So I have had hundreds, if not thousands of hours of listening time with multiple pairs of them.
The openrun pro shokz 2.0 certainly boast a large improvement in sound quality over the previous generation. I also love the orange color on the limited-edition model that I have.
Using the buttons to operate them has been easier than I have experienced on previous models which I greatly appreciate. I was never able to reliably navigate tracks forward and backward on my previous headphones, but these seem to perform much more nicely.
My only complaint about the new headphones (and I understand the reason for the change) is that they aren't using the magnetic charger. I really liked it, but proprietary chargers are about to disappear..... That aside, they added a little flap to cover the USB-C charging port. And whoever added the tab in the corner of the headphone must've had tiny hands or long fingernails. It's so hard to open, and I like that it fits securely, but put the hinge in the corner and the tab in the accessible part of the headphone! This thing makes me frustrated every time I go to plug in my headphones! For this reason alone, I will dock the 5th star.
Good product, needs ergo refinement.

Exactly as advertised.

The conductors work exactly as they should. The battery lasts upwards of 14 hours at times, and has never failed me during a shift. Sound can be drowned out by loud environments, but is generally as high quality as a comparably priced earbud. Highly recommended.

I have had the first pair they made and my last pair was coming apart so I seen the new open run pro 2 come out so I had to have them , great sound, long battery use , last all day even watching movies and talking all day

I'm not too fond about this model. I had one that I bought in 2020 and they worked very well. I didn't have any trouble hearing my caller and they didn't have any problems either. This model does not work well. Sometimes I'd rather have my phone on speaker rather than use the headset. Not good quality. Poor performance.
