My Go-To Running Headphones

I’ve been really impressed with my Shokz, especially for running. The sound quality is clear enough for podcasts and music, and I love that they let me stay aware of my surroundings, I gear to hear every stride my dogs take with me! Huge plus for outdoor runs. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and don’t move around even on longer runs.
My only small challenge has been wearing them with warm hats during winter runs. Depending on the thickness of the hat, it can feel a bit snug around the ears or take some adjusting.
Overall, Shokz have become a go-to for my runs, and I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants safe, reliable headphones for outdoor training, especially runners who value awareness and comfort.

Love the OpenRun Pro 2

I have used several types of listening devices, but the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2s are quite simply amazing. Ear buds have never fitted my ears and are constantly falling out, so the open ear technology is the best. I am a runner and never liked to use earbuds since I was always concerned about not hearing the cars and my safety. Now with this technology, I can run and listen to music without any fear of not hearing the surroundings, life changing! I find the music quality exceptional and love the fit, which is very tight and not bouncing or movement. The mini works for me with at tighter fit.

Almost perfect

First time trying headphones that don’t go directly into ear canal and I love for that reason. There’s a little bit of ear pressure on upper ear which gets sort of uncomfortable and battery life could be stronger; but overall great.

Solved some problems

I feel that this generation has solved some of the problems of the first generation. Namely, I am able to listen at higher volume without the annoying tickle of the first gen. It is still there but WAY less. Also, the audio EQ is so much better now. I ordered the mini this time because I found the standard size was a bit too big around my head, and the speakers would slip out of place. The mini size fits me perfectly. Nice and snug. It is comfortable but not quite as comfortable as the standard was. These are slightly heavier and the mini fits just tightly enough to be a little more noticeable over time.
But, all-in-all a MAJOR improvement! I think this is a recommended upgrade.

Game changer

I’m a music person and I have some of the best headphones that are made. I bought the Shokz because I thought they would be great for phone conversations, AND THEY ARE!! It’s important to me that I’m hearing my voice when I’m talking on the phone and these allow that as well as ambient noise in that you need to hear.
Then I tried them from music, and was pretty blown away. Of course everybody loves a noise canceling AirPod… but there are sometimes you need to hear the noise around you without something physically in your ear! I have started to just leave these on all day long, and if I need a little music, I just hit the button on the side and I have a little bit of a soundtrack to my life without feeling boxed in. These are great for sports like riding your bike in traffic and needing to hear what’s going on around you or skiing… there are times you want complete isolation and noise cancellation and there are times you don’t, and these headphones are for those times. The quality is great for the cost. I bought these for all my friends for Christmas. When I say game changer I mean it.

Everything works very well. I can hear the other person on the call very clearly and they can hear me very clearly without having to talk loudly. One way to make it better is the battery could last longer.
