This is my fifth or sixth pair of Shokz - they just keep getting better. The sound quality and comfort on these is fantastic, and I appreciate that they use a C-charger now instead of the unique charging cable.

These sound good, look good,

These sound good, look good, and are comfortable. I like the option of using earplugs if needed. The switch to USB-C is the main reason I bought this second pair—my cat prefers to eat proprietary cords.

Ok, But Can't Hear When Gets Loud

You should give is an option to use a range of algorithms to adjust volume when there's noise.

Open ear mini

I have smaller ears and head and these fit perfectly and are so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them! Sound only leaks when at a high volume in a quiet room.

Overall nice headphones, but not for noisy roads!

I’ve been using the OpenRun Pro for a couple of years. I ride a road bike in Cali, Colombia, where the roads are quite noisy. I decided to upgrade to the new OpenRun Pro 2. 0, expecting a stronger and more powerful sound. However, the difference was only moderate — the audio still feels a bit weak in noisy environments, and I didn’t notice a major improvement while riding.
The biggest improvement was noticeable at home, in a quieter setting, where the sound quality is clearly better and more refined.
Overall, the headphones are great, but in noisy conditions there isn’t much of a difference compared to the previous version.

What’s the deal with Bluetooth?
on November 13, 2025

They seem to work okay with my iphone, if I don’t have the iphone anywhere near any other devices. But trying to listen to music or watch video off my laptop they jitter and freeze the audio. I don’t have this problem with AirPods or other wireless headphones/earbuds. It takes me back to 2010 when Bluetooth always sucked. Shoks has this feature called multipoint pairing that is meant to allow multiple devices to be used with the headphones. I can’t really find any info on what problem it’s supposed to solve. Turning the feature on or off doesn’t seem to make any difference in connecting or being randomly disconnected.

Mini strap and no mute button 😒
on November 13, 2025

I have the minis and thought the back would sit on my head more but for the most part they are fine. My ears did have to get use to the strap around the top part of them but I like them. I wish I could mute my phone with the press of the buttons and not just hang up, and the volume starts low so I have to turn them up all the time but they are ok for the most part…

Very good sound quality both for music and calls. So comfortable, sometimes I forget that I have them on!
