Mixed Feelings

This range was an upgrade from our builder. It is beautiful! We have been using it for only 4 months. The cooktop works very well, and cleans up fairly good. I use warm sudsy water first. Then I spray it with Weiman cleaner. We like the oven for the most part. However, it will shut off by itself. Why it automatically times out, I don’t know or understand. It happened today while we were cooking our thanksgiving turkey. Good thing my husband was keeping an eye on it. Also, the oven has a meat thermometer which seems like a great idea. But when we used it to check the turkey, the oven shut down and a message to contact customer service scrolled across the screen. It was quite alarming! Finally, we keep finding small plastic pieces on the floor from the front panel sides. Again, it is only 4 months old, so that was quite surprising. I have never experienced that from any other range I have used. I am going to contact Samsung with these concerns and I just hope nothing else happens.

Great features, not perfect quality control

Induction cooking is a game changer--it's amazing to have water boil so quickly and have such great control over the temperature. Convection and air frying are great features as well. On top of that, the unit looks great. However, the exhaust fan is loud and it occasionally buzzes as though it were loose or badly positioned. I hope this is something that goes away on its own, but it makes me worry about the overall quality control of the product--I hope it lasts. Poor unsafe design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The glass cooking surface became easily scratched with normal use and not covered under warranty. The range burner dials are "trigger" sensitive and go on just by brushing against them. Anything unintended near or on the range will burn. Fire alarm went off 3 times due to smoke. Very unsafe and a fire hazard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The knobs on Samsung ranges are designed to meet the requirements set by international standards, which require a two-factor mechanism. All ranges with knobs must meet this standard, and Samsung is no exception.

Love the airfry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a great experience with the air-fry feature easpecually because it comes with a basket to air-fry things. We were able to cook 20 tempura shrimp at one time! Love the other features as well and it looks very pretty!
