I understand your concern. In many cases, we would not tell our customers to disassemble the product. However, for this range, we make removing the door for maintenance simple for our customers. No tools are required and a simple locking mechanism for easy removal. You can find how to remove the door on page 54 in your user manual. Thank you for your inquiry. ^Pat

I think there are 7 different rack heights available. We've had this brand at our previous house and wanted something similar at our new home.
