The Double-Oven's Little Brother

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is a handsome compliment to any kitchen. Stainless is indeed fingerprint/splatter resistant. The leveling feet stick out just a bit from the front edge, which I don’t find attractive, but not enough to make me dislike the overall aesthetics.
Things I love about this are:
1) back-lit knobs - makes knowing when a burner is on very obvious
2) rapid boil feature – less than 5 minutes for a cast iron 3 quart
3) pull out oven shelf – glides in/out with ease making heavier or bulkier items more manageable
4) split door – being able to check on what’s in the oven without opening the whole door
5) duo mode – with the oven divider, it’s like having two small double ovens… “the Double Oven’s little brother”
6) Air Fry – crispy, even results
7) Bread proof – perfect for anyone who bakes breads
8) Selection knob is user friendly and intuitive
9) Two lights
10) Chimes, instead of buzzers or beeps, for timers & notifications (like preheat is complete)
11) smooth cooktop & inside oven doors/floor wipe clean easily
Things I would change or don’t necessarily like:
1) needs stops (or notches) at the start & end of each size/selection on the multi burner knobs - it's too easy to be on the wrong size burner
2) needs an additional oven shelf
3) the oven vent, located on the back level with the cooktop surface, rattles when the oven is on
4) in duo mode you are limited by the temps & types of cooking for each section
5) the top oven light blew within the first week of use
6) When the control panel is locked, so is the door. It takes several seconds for the door latch to release after unlocking the panel.
7) Wish there were separate controls for each light
Overall, quite an improvement over my 12 year old convection oven! I’m very happy we made this upgrade.

I love this range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use SmartThings to automate my house already, so adding the oven to my house in the app was really simple. I haven't been and probably wont be much of a delayed start user, but I do appreciate the notification to my phone when cooking is finished, and also being able to check the status of the oven from my phone or tablet.
It took me a while to figure out that removing the oven divider added several additional cook modes, and i still haven’t been able to test them all out, but air fry and convection bake are two of my favorite so far. I am really excited to try dehydrate and see what can be done with that mode.
For the cooktop, i use the same brand of cleaner and same pots and pans as i did with my last one and things have gone great so far. The warmer station is a really useful to me. The heating surface size is selectable by turning the dial to the appropriate size and desired heating level, small, medium and large each have their own low to high section of the dial. It took a little getting used to at first, but i am getting the hang of it now. With the controls being on the front of the oven, its nice not to have to reach over and around boiling pots to turn on or adjust the heating surface. All and all, this is a beautiful and capable appliance that gives me the flexibility to cook better and healthier

i previously owned a samsung range and only sold it because i was moving my range to an island and needed the slide in model. this new samsung range doesn't disappoint. not only looks great but cooks and bakes wonderful.

Overall great range

- difficult to clean
- the ceramic glass top has smudges giving it a dirty look after cleaning.
- stove top knobs do not lock.
- the oven smells during the burn in period. per samsung this is normal, but the odor lingers and smells like chemicals. we completed a few burn in cycles and the smell is still there though not as bad as the first burn in cycle.
pros:
- heats up quickly
- the knobs light up so you know the stove top is on
- there is a warm/hot light indicator letting you know the stove top is hot
- you can control it through your phone!
- oven has a timer and you can control what it does after the timer has expired (i.e. continue to keep food warm)

i purchased the range with the double oven option. it has a built in airfryer, that is great. i love my new stove. it looks beautiful with matching appliances. oh! it a smart range able to set it on the phone.

Think twice before buying

I wanted a stove with the controls on the front for better convenience, but after almost 6 months of use, I discovered that the system is very dangerous, the knob turns with just a simple touch and several times I almost burned myself, because of that . Think twice before purchasing this model, I am really disappointed with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
